Step by step, with the traps we hit

  • Account: yes (Google or LinkedIn).
  • Create: /add-new → Company opens the editor at /edit/new/organization.companies/{uuid} with sections Overview, Headquarters, Industries, Founders and so on.
  • Required: Name, Description (2–140 characters), Founded year (plus month), Industries (search and add, e.g. SEO, Web Development) and Headquarters ("Create New Headquarters" opens a sub-page: Address name, City search → Continue).
  • Optional: Employees (1-10), Company type (For profit), Website and socials.
  • Save: "Save All Edits" → /edit/success: "Edits may take a few minutes to appear."
  • Traps:
  • Typing at the wrong time picked October instead of September; pick from the list and verify.
  • The logo upload opens a native file picker that can't be automated, so you must add it.
